Schmitz Park Elementary is a special place, unique for our strong academic focus and dynamic community of teachers and parents. But Schmitz Park would not be the great school it is without financial help. Many of the programs and resources that we love about this school are supported by the PTA and paid for by parents. Thanks to the generous contributions of Schmitz Park families , we fund programs such as Singapore Math, tutors, playground monitors and fun events like the Harvest Festival and Ice Cream Social. Below is an overview of the main fundraising events for the 2012-2013 school year so you can plan your contributions. If you have any additional questions, please contact Christine Morrell christinemorrell@yahoo.com.

While many public schools have faced major cut backs and downsizing of critical programs and services, Schmitz Park Elementary has been able to keep most of the fundamental and value-added staff and programs that are part of our school culture. This is largely thanks to the generous contributions of Schmitz Park families to the annual PTA fundraising efforts.
