"K" playdates are found on the school calendar.

"K" orientation is Thursday, August 29, at 6:00PM.

1st day of school is September 4 , 2013. We have a new start time of 8:35AM. For more information see bell schedule. 

Class lists will be posted August 30th on the front windows of the school. Come by and check it out after 3:30PM.

During the week before school starts, Kindergarten teachers will be conducting 1 on 1 assessments with each of their students. Our Administrative Secretary, Leann Russell, will be emailing you in mid-August to schedule a day and time. If you have not heard from her by August 21, give her a call at 206 252-9700.

If you are scheduled to ride a bus to school, notices will be sent by transportation the last week of August. Contact transportation at 206 252-0900 if you have any questions.

If you are starting to be tempted by the back-to-school ads, most school supplies are purchased by Schmitz Park Elementary, with funds from the PTA. The two things students need to start school are a backpack (that fits a 2 pocket folder) and a lunchbox. This is a great time to stock up on supplies for your child to use at home.

To register, go to escrip.com and click on "1-Sign Up." Enter the school name (Schmitz Park Elementary) or group ID (8566444). Follow the prompts to complete your registration.
• Keep saving your Box Tops and Campbell’s Soup labels!
